Application of these Terms and Conditions
These are Terms and Conditions between you and Fresha that apply to the purchase and use of Fresha Gift Cards ("Gift Card Terms and Conditions").
Please read these Gift Card Terms and Conditions carefully before you purchase a Gift Card. We recommend that you save or print a copy of these Gift Card Terms and Conditions for future reference.
We reserve the right to change these Gift Card Terms and Conditions from time to time by changing them on this page. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the page (see date above).
What is a Fresha Gift Card?
Each Fresha Gift Card carries a monetary balance that can be used to pay at thousands of self-care venues (“Partners”) on the Fresha Marketplace - exclusively on fresha.com or the Fresha App. Gift Cards include a unique 16-digit code that, when entered before purchase, applies a reduction to the order total.
Important information about gift cards
- Please note that the Gift Card can only be redeemed for bookings at venues that are Fresha verified – please see Where and how can I spend my Gift Card? for further information.
- Your Gift Card has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, including for any unused balance on expiry – please see How long will my Gift Card be valid for? for further information.
- You should keep your Gift Card code secure at all times – we will not be responsible if your Gift Card code is lost, stolen or spent without your permission, unless this is caused by our negligence.
How to order a Fresha Gift Card
To place an order for a Gift Card, please:
- select the Gift Card value you wish to purchase and add to the online shopping basket;
- you will then have the option to register an account with us or (where you already have an account) to log into your existing account;
- provide your email address to which the Gift Card code should be sent; and
- make the payment following the instructions.
Please take the time to check your order before submitting it. If you submit an order in error, you will have the opportunity to cancel it (see I need to cancel my Gift Card purchase - what should I do? below). You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until you click the Submit Order button.
When we accept and process your order we will send you an email confirming this to your nominated email address, together with the 16-digit Gift Card code. Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur when we send you this email. The contract that is formed will include these Gift Card Terms and Conditions.
We may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will notify you as soon as practicable.
When will my Gift Card arrive?
Fresha Gift Cards sent by email should arrive promptly to your nominated email address, and also will be uploaded to the ‘wallet’ section of your account at fresha.com/wallet and the Wallet section of your Fresha app if you have downloaded this. If your Gift Card does not arrive within 24 hours, please contact us via hello@fresha.com.
We're not responsible for delays outside our Control
If our supply of your Fresha Gift Card is delayed by an event outside our control, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and do what we can to reduce the delay. As long as we do this, we won't compensate you for the delay, but if the delay is likely to be substantial you can contact hello@fresha.com to end the contract and receive a refund for the value of the Gift Card you have not received.
Where and how can I spend my Gift Card?
Pre-paid in full bookings
Gift Cards are valid for online pre-paid in full bookings made via fresha.com or the Fresha App only at Partners that are Fresha Verified – to see if a Partner is Fresha Verified, look for a purple tick on their venue page. Simply browse and book at one of thousands of venues nationwide – you can filter to only look for Fresha Verified Partners. You can spend your Gift Card by entering the 16-digit Gift Card code you have received at the checkout step of your booking. If your booking costs more than the value of the Gift Card, you will pay the additional amount at checkout.
Bookings secured through payment of a deposit
Where a Fresha Verified Partner allows you to secure a booking on fresha.com or the Fresha app by paying a deposit, they may not accept the value of a Gift Card towards that deposit, but may accept your Fresha Gift Card in-store. You should confirm this with the Partner before you make the booking.
How long will my Gift Card be valid for?
Your Gift Card balance will remain valid for twelve months after the date of purchase. The exact expiry date will be included in the Gift Card email. If you have added the card to an account, you can also see the expiration date of your Gift Card in the Wallet section of your app, or fresha.com/wallet.
The value of the Gift Card should be spent by the expiry date. Any unused balance will be deducted on the expiry date and cannot be exchanged for cash.
I need to cancel my Gift Card purchase - what should I do?
We offer a 14-day return policy on all Gift Cards, starting on the day after the day you received your Gift Card, during which you can cancel your purchase, provided it hasn’t yet been redeemed. If you have mistakenly purchased too many Gift Cards or wish to cancel your order, please reach out to our Customer Experience team via hello@fresha.com or complete the cancellation form below and send this to hello@fresha.com.
Services are provided by Partners
The Partner and not Fresha is solely responsible for the marketing, advertising, sale, delivery, performance and after sale care associated with services or products booked through the Fresha website or app (“Partner Services”), including where a Gift Card has been redeemed for the booking.
When you book Partner Services, including where you use a Gift Card against the value of the booking, you enter into a separate contract with that Partner. It you are unhappy with the Partner Services please:
- speak to the Partner yourself to try and resolve the issue;
- leave an honest review and/or rating for the Partner on the Fresha Platform to reflect your experience; or
- email us at hello@fresha.com.
If you reach out to us at hello@fresha.com, we may contact the Partner to attempt to resolve the issue. If we are unable to resolve the issue following contact with the Partner, and if we consider it to be fair in all the circumstances, then we may, at our sole discretion and always as a last resort, elect to give you a refund for the disputed / complained about amount. These refunds will be processed through the Fresha Payment Services.
While we take all complaints about our Partners very seriously and will always do what we can to help to resolve them, we are not responsible to you for the Partner Services – including where a Gift Card has been redeemed against those services - and are under no obligation to provide you with a refund or any other recompense if you are dissatisfied with any Partner Services.
Our Responsibility for Loss or Damage
Nothing in these Gift Card Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our agents, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any breach of any terms implied by law or any matter that we are not permitted to limit or restrict by law.
If we fail to comply with these Gift Card Terms and Conditions, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Gift Card Terms and Conditions or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any:
- loss or damage that is not foreseeable (loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the sales process);
- loss or damage which is not caused by our breach of these Gift Card Terms and Conditions; or
- losses and/or losses to non-consumers.
Our right to terminate
We reserve the right to terminate and withdraw or cancel the Gift Card at any time – where we do so we will provide you with at least 14 days’ notice and refund you the value of any unspent balance.

Resolving Disputes
Our Customer Service Team: hello@fresha.com will do their best to resolve any problems you have with us or our products.
These Gift Card Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland in which case the relevant law will apply and you can choose to take action against us in your local courts.
Other Important Terms Apply To Our Contract
- If these Gift Card Terms and Conditions are terminated by either of us for any reason, neither of us will lose any rights which have already accrued.
- If, at any time, we do not require you to comply with any part of these Gift Card Terms and Conditions, this will not prevent us from doing so in the future.
- If any part of these Gift Card Terms and Conditions is disallowed or held to be ineffective by any court or other competent body, the rest of the Gift Card Terms and Conditions will not be affected.
- This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms. You may not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Gift Card Terms and Conditions to another person without our prior written consent.
- We can transfer all or any part of these Gift Card Terms and Conditions to another organisation but your rights under these Gift Card Terms and Conditions will not be affected.
- We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in the English language only and that no public filing requirements apply.
